Aromatherapy is based on the use of aromatic materials, including essential oils and other aroma compounds, with claims for improving psychological well-being.  Aromatherapy is a form of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). As it mainly  uses the essential oils to manage symptoms or boost your well-being, hence also known as Essential Oils Therapy. Popular Essential Oils used in Aromatherapy are:  Lavender : Often used for their calming effects. It can help relieve pain, ease headaches and aid sleep, too. Even if you're new to essential oils, starting with lavender is a great idea. Lemon : It has long been used as a home remedy to clear the skin, to soothe anxiety, and to stimulate the mind.  It also helps fight exhaustion, helps with depression, kills harmful viruses and bacteria, and reduces inflammation.  Chamomile : Chamomile preparations are commonly used for many human ailments such as hay fever, inflammation, muscle spasms, menstrual disorders,...

So, what exactly is durva? The durva grass consists of three blades which represent the three principles of the primal Shiva , the primal Shakti and the primal Ganesha.  In Hindu pujas or worship, Durva or doob grass is primarily offered to Lord Ganesha to attract his blessings, remove obstacles, and ensure ritual success, symbolizing prosperity and purity. It is used for its sacred and purifying properties , believed to absorb and transmit divine vibrations . It is considered an essential offering in Ganesh puja and other ceremonies like havan and Abhishekam.  Mythological Story Of Durva  Once, a demon named Analasura caused havoc in the heavens.
