Ya-Pao is a traditional detoxification therapy used for centuries in Thailand. According to the practitioners who prescribe it, it’s also a great way to alleviate long COVID symptoms such as inflammations and coughs. Ya-Pao works by balancing the wind, water, and fire elements in the body. In Ya-Pao ritual, a herbal paste is placed on guest’s stomach and then lit on fire by an experienced practitioner to help detoxify respiratory systems.
