FIGHT COLD WITH BASIL'S HOT CUP OF TEA

Tulsi

Tulsi or Holy Basil is used since several years for its medicinal properties. Basil can cure many diseases and has lot many benefits. It is proven beneficial in reducing headaches, stress relief, immunity booster and in common cold and cough. In winters its very common to have cold and cough. Let me tell you how you can use Tulsi or Basil to cure it.

  • Chew Tulsi Leaves - Chewing 5 or 6 basil leaves daily could help keeping cold and cough away from you.

  • Tulsi or Basil Tea – While making this herbal green tea, just put some Basil Leaves in it and boil for few minutes. Have this Tulsi tea and get a quick relief in Cough.

  • Tulsi Herbal Water or Kadha – Boil some Tulsi Leaves with a pinch of black pepper powder and Ginger. Strain and put some lemon drops in it and have this water 2 or 3 times a day, it will help you get relief in common cold and cough.

  • Tulsi Juice – Strain some tulsi juice by crushing leaves. Have it 2 or 3 times a day, it will also help in fighting common cold.

  • Tulsi Milk – Boil some tulsi leaves and a pinch of cinnamon powder in 1 glass of milk, add some sugar or jaggery or honey (if you prefer sweet flavor) and have it. It will help you getting relief in fever.
