Snwoga or Snow plus yoga is an interesting way to combine being outdoors and doing exercise in the form of Yoga and asanas. Let your body breathe in the crisp winter air and soak up Vitamin D as well. The purpose of snow yoga is to prepare the person or yogi physically for participating in snow sports, warming up and stretching muscles and to calm the mind, focus and to prevent from fear of winters or snow, especially for a sport such as downhill skiing.

In typical yoga you can go barefoot whereas in Snowga, you need to get your shoes or snowshoes on, to be safe in snow. For typical yoga you might not need winter clothing but for Snow Yoga it’s must .

Snow Yoga is fun, rejuvenating, and exciting in many ways. However it may go wrong if not handled carefully. Freezing weather is one of the biggest hurdle you can face during Snowga. Using proper winter clothes, you can avoid facing such issues. Also, if you any serious medical conditions and or or terminal diseases than you should avoid doing yoga in snow.
